Jeffrey P. Goodman (Saltz Mongeluzzi Barrett & Bendesky, Philadelphia, PA) in 2016, became the youngest partner in the firm’s history and before his 34th birthday helped recover more than $750 million for plaintiffs. It is believed that he is the youngest attorney in the US to reach this milestone. He has played a lead role in litigating complex and catastrophic disasters. From 2015 on Jeff has been selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star and named one of Philadelphia’s Legal Eagles in 2018.

Amy Keller (DiCello Levitt & Gutzler, Chicago, IL) has served in various leadership positions in national class actions, including in matters against General Mills and Woodgrain Millwork Company. She has considerable familiarity with a range of unfair competition laws, and has offered extensive commentary concerning proposed changes to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure as Chair of the Chicago Bar Association’s Class Action Committee and Co-Chair of the American Bar Association’s Section of Litigation Rule 23 Subcommittee. In 2016 she was elected to the Board of Directors of the Public Justice Foundation.

Wesley Todd Ball (Farrar & Ball, Houston, TX) was named to Texas Rising Stars from 2010 to 2014 and Texas Super Lawyers from 2014 to present. His practice, formed after leaving the defense firm of Adams and Reese to focus on plaintiff litigation. His practice focuses on automobile and tire litigation and has been lead counsel against virtually every major automobile and tire manufacturer, domestic and foreign. Wes has successfully obtained verdicts and settlements against numerous Fortune 500 companies, including Michelin North America, Inc., Ford Motor Company, General Motors, Freightliner, LLC, Bridgestone/Firestone North American Tire, Technical Chemical Company, Cooper Tire & Rubber Company, and Michelin Tire Corporation.

Kila Baldwin (Kline Specter, Philadelphia, PA) has recently served as lead counsel in trials that resulted in verdicts of $41 million and $57.1 million again Johnson & Johnson. Named Pennsylvania Super Lawyer in 2016 and Rising Star from 2011 and New Jersey Super Lawyer – Rising Star since 2014, she co-counseled with Shanin Specter the largest personal injury verdict case in Pennsylvania in 2012. In 2019 Kila won a jury verdict of $7.1 million against Johnson & Johnson in a vaginal mesh device case that included a $50 million punitive damages award. She has earned verdicts of $12.5 million and $13.5 million for two other women so injured. Kila has also co-counseled a $15 million settlement in a birth injury medical malpractice case.

David Berger (Gibbs Law Group, Oakland, CA) has been named a Rising Star by the Northern California Super Lawyers since 2016. He represents plaintiffs in class actions with a special emphasis on data breach, privacy, and health care litigation, including those injured in the I35-W bridge collapse and served as a key member of the litigation team in numerous data breaches including litigation against Adobe, Anthem, Home Depot, Experian, and Excellus BlueCross BlueShield, among others.

Bobby DiCello (The DiCello Firm, Mentor, OH) worked as Assistant County Prosecutor in the largest prosecutor’s office in the State of Ohio, The Cuyahoga County before joining the firm. As a prosecutor, he quickly earned the rank of In-Charge Supervisor, managing 16 prosecutors and tried more than 40 major jury trials. His practice at the firm focuses on civil rights, police misconduct, wrongful death, class action and mass tort. He handled the appellate work for Donzinger v. Chevron.

Robert Glassman (Panish Shea & Boyle, Los Angeles, CA) was named a “Rising Star” in Personal Injury litigation by Law360 and has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers magazine since 2013 where he has also been selected as one of the “Up-and-Coming 100 Southern California Rising Stars” — the list of lawyers who ranked at the top of the Super Lawyers’ Rising Stars list — since 2016. He has earned verdicts such as a $19.78 million for an injured plaintiff following a gas explosion at home in San Gabriel, CA and $6.45 million for a correctional officer after motorcycle crash (recognized by The Daily Journal as a Top Ten Verdict of 2010. He has also recovered millions of dollars for his clients in settlements against some of the nation’s biggest food and beverage companies, real estate companies, utility companies, hotel chains, automotive and trucking companies and local, statewide and national public entities.

Nicholas S. Gurney, (Newsome | Melton) a graduate of Gerry Spence’s Trial Lawyers College, he has earned verdicts in excess of $1 million in both Collier and Palm Beach Counties. He is on the Board of Directors for the Florida Justice Association and a Top 40 Under 40 by the National Trial Lawyers. Nick was awarded by the University of Florida School of Law with the Helen C. Blechman Memorial Award in recognition of his provision of more free legal services than any other graduate.

Rachel Lanier (Lanier Law Firm, New York, NY) serves on the Executive committee for the Top 40 Under 40, National Trial Lawyers. She focuses her practice on litigation of toxic substances and defective products. Prior to joining the Lanier Law Firm, Rachel worked on asbestos cases for a Manhattan firm. She is an accredited attorney for the preparation, presentation, and prosecution of claims for veterans’ benefits before the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)

Justin Nematzadeh (DiCello Levitt Gutzler, New York, NY) was integral to achieving a nearly $3 billion settlement with Brazilian oil giant Petrobras in 2018 - the fifth-largest class action settlement in U.S. history. He was honored by Law360 as a Rising Star the same year. Justin has learned “you have to sort of incorporate different lenses in how you review documents and how you depose witnesses. You have to act in certain different ways to suit the customs, whether they be of your clients or your adversaries or third-party witnesses."

Marc Simon (Simon & Simon, Philadelphia, PA) formed his firm in 2010 after working as a commercial litigator for two large Philadelphia firms, including servings on the hiring committee at Oabermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel. He serves on the board of governors for the Pennsylvania Association for Justice. Marc was named “40 under 40” by the Legal Intelligencer.

David T. Sirotkin (Morelli Law Firm, New York, NY) served as lead associate on the firm’s representation of actor/comedian Tracy Morgan against Wal-Mart, in addition to lead on the representation of numerous victims in the May 12, 2015 Amtrak train derailment, which was the largest train accident and settlement in US history. He has been named a Rising Star by New York SuperLawyers since 2016.

Matthew Stumpf (Panish Shea & Boyle, Los Angeles, CA) has helped recover more than $300 million in settlements and verdicts for his clients. He obtained a $41.86 million jury verdict and subsequent $46 million settlement (during the punitive damages phase) for an injured motorcyclist dragged more than 500 feet by a Southern California Gas Company truck and $53.74 million for two brothers injured in a head-on truck crash. He was also a member of the trial team that earned a landmark $160.5 million verdict following less than 5 hours of deliberation for a man who suffered a traumatic brain injury as a result of a vicious beating by security personnel for a nightclub. Matthew received the Moffett Litigation Award of Outstanding Achieve in Trial Preparation and Litigation in 2014 while at Emory University School of Law.

Robert W. Zimmerman (Saltz Mogeluzzi Barrett & Bendesky, Philadelphia, PA) has been named a Rising Star by Philadelphia SuperLawyers since 2012. He earned a judicial externship in the Civil Division of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas during law school and continued earning an LL.M. in Trial Advocacy in 2011 from Temple University Beasley School of Law where he now serves as a Lecturer and Judge instructor. As a Certified Aerial Lift Operator, Crane Operator, Rigger, and Signalman, he is involved in the firm’s extensive construction and premises accidents related practice.
