Biography

Brian has obtained some of the most significant jury verdicts in US history on behalf of plaintiffs, include a record $4.9 billion verdict in the landmark products liability case of Anderson v. General Motors, plus more than 75 verdicts and settlements in excess of $10 million and more than 250 in excess of $1 million. He has also obtained five jury verdicts in excess of $50 million in personal injury cases.

He has been recognized by numerous publications and organizations as being among the top trial lawyers in the country including the 2018 Daniel O’Connell Award from the Irish ABA–Los Angeles, 2018 Best Lawyers Lawyer of the Year in Aviation Law-Los Angeles, The Daily Journal’s 2017 Top 100 Lawyers in California and Top Plaintiff Lawyers in California, and one of two finalists for the Consumer Attorney of the Year by Consumer Attorneys of California. Brian serves as Vice President of the Inner Circle of Advocates, 100 of the nation’s top plaintiffs’ lawyers, and a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers, a member of the International Society of Barristers, and the American Board of Trial Advocates.
