Joseph Cullan, MD, JD, (Cullan & Cullan, Omaha, NE) began working with his father Daniel B. Cullan MD JD, one of the first physician/trial lawyers in the country to specialize in representing catastrophically injured children. He worked with his father on nationally recognized cases, which obtained record verdicts and settlements throughout the country, including the largest trucking accident verdict in Nebraska, the largest medical malpractice verdict in Nebraska, the largest premises liability award in Nebraska, as well as the largest wrongful death verdict in Nebraska. Most recently, Dr. Cullan obtained a record $19.6 million verdict for a paralyzed Montana man. He has been recognized as obtaining the highest verdict in Nebraska and the twenty-seventh highest verdict in the United States by the National Law Journal. Dr. Cullan is also Past Chairman of the American Association for Justice’s Birth Injury Litigation Group.
