Nicholas S. Gurney has secured favorable jury verdicts in both civil and criminal trials, including multiple seven figure verdicts in some of Florida’s most conservative venues. As one of the youngest ever to graduate from Gerry Spence’s famed Trial Lawyer’s College, Nicholas has found success representing victims of dangerous products and through constitutional challenges to state law in defense of the indigent. He has achieved multi-million-dollar settlements through his development of “Trial by Litigation,” a multi-disciplinary approach to case framing before mediation ever starts. He was named University of Central Florida’s Top 30 Under 30 in 2017 and National Trial Lawyer’s Top 40 Under 40 in both 2018 and 2019. In his spare time, Nicholas teaches as an Adjunct Professor of Legal Studies at his alma mater, UCF.
