Theonia K. Boyd, MD, (Director, Division of Anatomic Pathology, Boston Children’s Hospital and Associate Professor of Pathology, Harvard Medical School) is board certified in Anatomic Pathology and Pediatric Pathology. Dr. Boyd attended Johns Hopkins University for college. After receiving her Bachelor’s degree in 1984, she graduated from the Utah School of Medicine 1988. Thereafter, Dr. Boyd pursued postdoctoral training at a number of schools, including the University of North Carolina and Harvard Medical School, where she completed a fellowship in pediatric and perinatal pathology. Dr. Boyd has held academic appointments at Tufts Medical School as well as at the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine.
